Essex Junction, Vermont has many great characteristics: a walkable downtown, civic-minded citizens, small-town concern for others, a growing ethnic diversity, a great school system, and many technologically skilled workers and several advanced manufacturing facilities.
steAmfest, a 2-day arts festival set to hit the streets of Essex Junction, Vermont September 29th & 30th will celebrate the Arts through an art-hop-style Friday night festival and a Saturday Essex Mini Maker Faire, maker-space lab, food and music, that address how aesthetics are applied to the STEM fields. Through the theme "The Art of Disruption", steAmfest 2017 uses a showcase of art and exhibitions that highlight what happens when we experience the STEM fields though the lens of Art and Aesthetics.
